Try one of the AC/DC TVs. They are great and the new ones don't need a converter box. Depending on where i am in the world, i can pick up between 3 and 20 channels. The bigger the city, the more channels. Don't buy the TVs they sell in the truck stops. they are overpriced and low quality.

A AC/DC powered tv. This one is 16 inch tv:

BIGGER AC/DC tv. This one is 24 inches. might be a little bit of overkill for a truck, unless you plan to get an Xbox or something like that:

LOL my wife makes me go with her down there to buy her nail supplies , for some reason they seem to have the manicure market cornered.

Yes, the Vietnamese have it cornered worldwide. Pretty good niche market. One Vietnamese girl immigrated to America and became a millionaire within 12 months selling false nails and supplies. Hard working people.

What is it with the channels going out? I mean everytime a truck passes by, out it goes... Just rediculous... Does everyone have the same problem? I am starting to think it is my tv, a cheapo from china-mart. It is real annoying to be watching something and every few minutes/seconds the station goes out for a a min/sec...

I use the RCA Digital Amplified TV Antenna. I tried putting it at the side window, and your right other trucks mess with the signal. So I just put it on the dash every night and have no problems.

I am going to buy a power antenna than, put it on a telescoping pole and, make sure it is above the truck when I use it... If that don't work, I may get a dish....

okay, bought a powered antenna from china-mart and it works way better than anything so far but, it is mounted just behind the cab and still goes out when parked next to trucks or trucks go by but, not near as bad as it did. When I get home, I am going to fabricate a pvc pipe as a periscope...lol I am confident that it will work better when I get it above the truck/trlr a few feet.
