They expect you to be a safe driver, don't fail a drug test and complete orientation then start making money, Good luck to you and JB Hunt orientation is 4 days they will be talking about safety everyday just like i don't know, they do care about safety but they still have some bad drivers like the owner said some of them were cut to be truck driver and some of them were not cut to be truck driver
rengokuki Thanks this. -
thanks. ive been hearing good about them as of late, so heres to hoping.

good luck on your journey... JB preaches safety safety safety. it will get old but there isa reason they do that.. They are a good company to work for, I have no complaints and been here 11 and a half years.

Rengokuki, I'm sure you did well on orientation. We both worked for the same company prior to our orientations. I was curious on whether you got a truck right out of orientation or if you had to wait on one. How do you like working for JB Hunt thus far?

You'll learn about the SMITH system until it hurts your ears & your eyes bleed. But you'll most definitely remember it & you'll be a better driver as a result. Good luck to you & enjoy your new job. You'll really like working at JB Hunt once you learn the ropes & you'll see that everywhere you go at the company you are treated with the utmost respect. It's quite eye opening.

Jb is a good company just have fun at orintation when you get youre truck its equiped with the colision control device that applyes the brakes if you get to close to other autos and the smith is not as bad as you may think jb goes back more than 10 years on youre cdls and 10 years on the crimanal record they just a safty strict company

I have been with JB 12 years, Its all about safety, you get monthly briefings and sometimes they get stuck on one subject, but its all good. They take care of all of their equipment unless they are not told about it they cant

i recently went thru it and it is a bit painful, but it is easy as all get out. you will have a drive and backing test but nothing to worry about. like the others have stated smith driving. it will more than likely be in a van not a big truck. dont sweat it and comentary drive and youll be good.so far i like working for jb. my manager is great and pretty much leaves me be. welcome aboard.
ewill71 Thanks this.
