need to find a replacement for my 1981 gmc dump truck

    ok guys can anybody tell me where I can get 1 of this in north Carolina or close to va...this 1 has a few cracks and I want to replace it before something happens...I just found them yesterday..also what is it called the hub or what..

    You're talking about the hub seal? You can get those (and the gaskets) at Fleet Pride... I know they're in North Carolina... I used to get parts off the one on Jones Sausage Road (I40 exit 303) in Garner. NAPA might have them...
    I'm not 100% familiar with Castalia.. how far are you from Truck Stop Road (IIRC, exit 105 or 106 on I95)? And which part(s) are you trying to replace, exactly? They should be pretty standard fare... any truck stop with a shop should carry them if Fleet Pride isn't close to you.
    It looks like your hub oil leak is on the left side (as we're facing the photo)? Where it looks like it's coming from, you might only need a gasket, although that indentation I see on the cap makes me think the whole thing will have to be replaced.

    im sorry not the hub seal...the part that holds the rim on the truck..the spoke looking part...im not use to the older trucks ..lol so please don't think im crazy..lolthe part that looks like a start with the 6 lugs holding the rim on is the part that's cracked ...

    These old school Dayton style hubs are still very popular and parts still readily available.

    The hub is specific for your axle/ spindle/ bearings.

    Contact the gunite company. They can get you the right hub.
