Stay away from Classic Carriers, they tell you its not forced dispatch but they wont take no for an answer, even if you are out of hours they expect you to falsify your log so you can take care of their "emergency" run that was supposed to be picked up 2 days ago, but will take your safety bonus from you for log violations and will also take it from you for a "claim" even if it is the result of equipment failure (refer units) The dispatchers never consider your hours or how long you have been behind the wheel when they send you a load, they don't care how you pull it off they just want it done. It's all about the money and the load getting there, NOT about the driver and their safety. There are drivers that have been there for over 2 years and still have never had a raise. Still driving for 35 cents a mile. And the insurance isn't all they make it out to be, with the high deductibles and even after meeting the deductibles your still not getting a good deal on your healthcare. Its a small company mostly ran by family, so I guess there is no since in going to your boss if you are having any issues, because they are all pretty much related. KEEP LOOKING.
