Hogan Transport is a great company! You cant beat this company. They are one of very few companies out there that WILL take care of their drivers. Nice equipment, very professional atmosphere, great runs, great insurance all around good company!

Wow! This sounds too good to be true. Can you please elaborate? Does "will" take care of their drivers imply that they are NOT presently taking care of drivers, but will in the future? What does "nice" equipment portend? Describe the "great runs". What is the mean weekly mileage and how does this figure compare to the industry mean? Please tell us about the "great insurance". Can you compare and contrast the insurance offered with that of the top 10 mega carriers and identify what makes the insurance "great" as opposed to "average".

I have been with Hogan for 10 mths. I am not amused with them. I feel they don't keep their eqt up and my d/m thinks I owe him something.
I started with 4 mths exp. so I was almost a newbee but, not quite (almost). I started at $.29 p/m and wont get my 1st raise until May of this year then it is $.01. They start off at $.24 p/m. for newbees.

Their ins will cost me just over a days pay every week. I don't know how good it is but, I can't afford it.

I run from KCKs to Edwardsville, Ill 5 days a week I get about $750 b/4 taxes if I run all the way in everyday. By that I mean sometimes I take a load off the yard or drop a load on the Earth City, MO. yard. It takes me about 12 hrs to make the round trip. No matter what I usually haul a load back from the EC yard every day.

The trucks run at 62 mph. I have been passed by everything from a semi to a snail. (The snail even flipped me off on the way by. lolol) It is a '12 Prostar.

Sometimes you get a good trailer and somethine you get a piece of crap. It all depends on the luck of the draw. For example, I got one the other day that had a gladhand lock on it. They couldn't tell me why or find the key for it so, they broke it off. I hooked up and started to pull off the lot. I got maybe 2 blocks down the road and saw smoke coming from my rear wheels. It seems the very back wheels had locked up and I didn't realize it until too late. They wound up replacing them because they were so badly damaged.

Now, who ever said you would get $1500 p/w needs to lay off that funny tobacco. I have never heard of that.

I am a slip seat driver and have been since July '13. I finally got on days in Oct and since then I have had 7 (SEVEN) night drivers. Go figure. I WILL NOT SUGAR COAT THINGS FOR HOGAN!! I REFUSE TO.

They offer 3 bonuses. 10 Saftey 2) Milage (over 10k p/ mth) 3) Fuel bonus. You must get 7.1 mpg starting April 1. My truck will NOT get that no matter what I do. Part of the reason for this, and this is just my thoughts, is that I am constantly hauling 44k - 45k+ lbs both ways. I could be wrong but, this is just me talking here.

I run I70 both ways to and from E'ville, Ill.

mje, Pasquale and 123456 Thank this.

This is the first I have heard of it. You might give them a call and see what they say. It is a toll free number so it wont cost you anything but your time.

I talked to them, sounds interesting, but being based in Baltimore not sure about moving forward with it. Think I'm going to stick with tankers out of Baltimore.
