I think with this last freeze winter is over here. Wouldn't surprise me. I just saw a squirrel with a shirt on that said "F leftovers." :biggrin_2559:

Glad I'm not in Georgia today. Man.

Yeah, that I-20 shutdown? It sucks. I would have made it to Rockwall tonight, but not now. They are forcing us off 20 onto 61. There are at least 200 trucks lining up and down the shoulder. Walmart is a truck stop. Im at the Vicksburg mall aking with another 30 trucks or so and the number of trucks is increasing. Nearest way actoss the Mississippi is down in Natchez but that adds an extra 150 miles or so.

Sorry you're caught in all of that honeybadger. Too bad it is so far to go through Natchez ....it is a really pretty city with some wonderful old homes.

Its my curse. If it can go wrong, it will happen to me.

Im taking a 10 in Big Spring, TX now and drop this load in Odessa later tinight. Hoping to get a FL run after this to be able to get my knee brace and stuff ftom the house.

Definitely did some permanent damage. I have spots with no sensation anymore. At least it isnt painful except when directly palpated. But the spots I can still feel seem itchy, possibly due to a but of residual swelling?

With a job where you sit most of the day I think you should really go get the knee checked to make sure you aren't at risk for clots.

    That's my old neighborhood!
Growing up in Omaha...I think about you driving across 80 in Nebraska.
It's a long flat road through a lot of corn, or it used to be that way.
    George likes his new job.:yes2557:

Gee, guys, what is with all of you? Do you have the winter blues? :biggrin_2554:

    1. My first job was working in an Orange Juice factory, but I got canned. Couldn't concentrate.

    2. Then I worked in the woods as a Lumberjack, but just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the axe.
    3. After that, I tried being a Tailor, but wasn't suited for it --mainly because it was a sew-sew job.
    4. Next, I tried working in a Muffler Factory, but that was too exhausting.
    5. Then, tried being a Chef - figured it would add a little spice to my life - but I just didn't have the thyme.
    6. Next, I attempted being a Deli Worker, but any way I sliced it, I couldn't cut the mustard. 7. My best job was a Musician, but eventually I found I wasn't noteworthy.
    8. I studied a long time to become a Doctor, but didn't have any patience.
    9. Next, was a job in a Shoe Factory. Tried hard but just didn't fit in.
    10. I became a Professional Fisherman, but discovered I couldn't live on my net income.
    11. Managed to get a good job working for a Pool Maintenance Company, but the work was just too draining.
    12. So then I got a job in a Workout Center, but they said I wasn't fit for the job.
    13. After many years of trying to find steady work, I finally got a job as a Historian - until I realized there was no future in it.
    14. My last job was working in Starbucks, but I had to quit because it was the same old grind.
    15. SO, I TRIED RETIREMENT
AND I FOUND I'M PERFECT FOR THE JOB!!!
