I'm new to the thread I'm supposed to start Millis Transfer MTI next month in Cartersville, GA. If anyone could give me a low down of what to expect through training and whats the average miles per week does a newbie drive once solo.

 

There are a few threads going on right now from current MTI students. You should have a good idea of what to expect after reading them.

 

im still undecided on that right now.I might stay and drive back on wkends.

 

Welcome aboard! You got 2 of us here that will be in the same class as you on march 17th in Carterseville. Apparently it's supposed to be top of the line training and a starter company, but we shall find out i guess.

I just got all my confirmation papers and all set.Do you have your permit and Physical yet?

 

Yes i do have my physical and permit in hand.

 

The thing I'm curious about the most is what the average miles does otr driver get a week. I know trucking is a lifestyle which is great but the income is at the top of all questions. I see my self needing to make $ 50 k plus to make it. While still getting some quality home time also. Any advice would be awesome ?
