I have a bill that is over 60 days over due from ATS Logistics. I have gotten the run around on the payment, and would like instructions on filing on the bond. They are holding the payment hostage because the crane made a note on the bill that there was "minor scratches" in the paint when unloaded, so it wouldn't fall back on him when he unloaded it.

    Thanks again in advance!

Call the shipper directly and ask if they have paid whatever broker already - inform them that you haven't been paid and were the one that actually transported the crane. Would at least do that before jumping through the hoops of filing on a bond.

For filing on a bond, look on SAFER as to who the Bond company is and call them directly and ask for the form to file a claim.

Here it goes: I'm a new Freight Agent working under a Freight broker.I need help finding Manufacturers that use Brokers.I was told that I'm on my own in doing this. So If a Trucker Or a Company can work together with me on this,I can send you a packet with the Information about the broker firm I work for.In doing this, I would be a freight agent you would work with & trust. And I know this works both ways.
I hope we can work as a team & do away with the hassle of working with dishonest people,I'm also someone who wants to make a living & support my wife & children.
    Any suggestions?

I am working with ATS long years and never had any treble getting paid. Some thing is greater then few scratches in this tread.I am surprised to hear that they are not paying 60 days. I suggest you to rite a letter to company CEO.

Just got the full payment. Like I said,it was nothing more than a"few minor scratches" noted on the BOL. 66 days to get paid. I would never haul for Dan with ATS Logistics again.
