I just got to the Denver terminal and man is parking bad! Two of the fuel lanes have people parked in them. Don't even think about trying to find parking in the back because there are so many trailers if you try any left or right turns will have you within inches of hitting a trailer or tractor. Is it always this way? Or is it just because the time of day? I literally had to park down the road from the terminal. Any other terminals I should shy away from? Although I try to never see a terminal besides my home terminal.
Seriously?!

Always ... to a greater or lesser extent.
-
Houston is a rat hole, Denver terminal is always like that.
-
Dam. I will definitely try to never come back here. Although gotta love being stuck here burning up my clock with out a single load offer in 3 hours woohoo.
-
Denver has ALWAYS been like that. To make matters worse they outlawed parking on the street and parking has been banned at the nearby Wal-Mart for quite some time.
-
are you talking about the street that has like the S curve that leads over railroad? Because there were trucks all up and down that road made it hard to even get to the terminal.
-
I always disliked parking at the Denver terminal. Always full and never anywhere to park, unless I improvised. I am surprised the terminal manager doesn't direct drivers to any one of the truck stops on the Eastern side of Denver? There's a Pilot, Sapp Brothers, and a T/A near the I-70 and I-270 Junction. IMO, unless I had business at the terminal, I would hunt for a place to park at one of the local truck stops.

The Pilot is a nightmare. Very tight and always pretty full.
The TA fills up by around 1600, so get there very early or reserve a spot.
I haven't had much experience at the Sapp.
I come here for some home times, but I always drop my trailer at the terminal and bt out.
When I get here on a normal load I'll try to time things to unload early enough to find parking, if I don't have a load out right away.
If I think I'll be stuck there too late in the day I will reserve a spot at one of the TA's. -
troutdale and sumner terminal can get packed too

I heard from a L/P today that Fontana is closing and a new terminal in Mira Loma that's a new "hi tech" facility as he put it.
