I believe it was 2007. I was in Cincinnati and had just started with the company I was with then. I remember taking my 10 hour and reading the local (Cincinnati) newspaper and reading about school closings. I thought it to be weird and then found out that schools up North weren't prepped from such temperatures.

You see pa today? Talk about southern people driving on ice. Hahaha look at the idiots up north.
-
It doesn't matter where you live when ice hits, ice is still ice and is hard to drive on. It takes out trees, powerlines and telephone and light poles with equal gusto, just according to how much sleet/rain/ice is delivered. This is what a lot of areas in the south were dealing with, not just the snow.
streetglider Thanks this. -
I agree my point was directed at the people on here spouting off about snow plows and southern folk. Just shows how weak their thinking really is.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

You're clueless man. It definitely does get into the 90s around Chicago in addition to ungodly humidity. People up north can handle all sorts of weather because we deal with all types of weather.
Hell, I remember the last week of October 1999, we had a heat wave of 85+ weather for almost a week and then it snowed the week after.
You southerners need to quit being in denial and accept that northerners are better at dealing with the elements.
Southerners are better at some things, but dealing with a wide range of weather isn't one of them.
