I Jumped a/c high pressure sensor still stays on, I have Scan gauge plugged in and its read 182F same as the gauge on the dash, Any one have wiring diagram for the cooling fan? I get good fuel mileage but the it sucks at getting up hills. I have no exhuast leaks or intake leaks.

Truck model, year? Need more information than what you are giving! Could be lots of things keeping the fan on.

Its 2007 columbia old Martin truck. It doesn't have a manual switch to override the fan. I have no codes or anything with the cruise switch it just flashes 55 code.

Look for any air leaks at the fan hub.... If hub is hurting for air I think it locks it.

The hub is fine what I did was to keep the fan off I disconnect the air lines from the air solenoid valve and connect the the line with a quick connector. I tested the air solenoid its good. There is no power to solenoid at all.

Heavyd and Cat sdp Thank this.

Great way to test the hub and clutch. The next thing is to disconnect the electrical connector at the air solenoid and jump 12volts and ground to it to make sure it is electrically good and operates properly. After that, retry jumping the a/c high pressure switch again, but let it run for at least 5 mins. Most trucks are programmed to run the fan for another 3 minutes or so after the ECM has sensed the a/c pressure is low again.

    hot day Thanks this.

It could be the intake air temperature sensor. That will turn fan on and derate if temp reading is high.
