I will gladly pay to park if I can drop the trailer.

For company drivers it's deductible for you as well.

Not really...
According to him we should have to pay for parking so ok.... Someone who is a "Company Driver" ( remember you owner operators have money longer than train smoke ) who is out on the road say 6 nights a week lets say for 45 weeks out of the year... 6x45=270 times that by $10 parking= $2700.00 a year for a driver to pay to park so he can go to sleep? A company driver making from what $25,000 to what $80,000 a year should have to fork over that to rest easy? But it wouldn't surprise me if It comes to this soon because the more people who use the pay to park means the truck stop is profiting more and when they look at the numbers at the end of the year and decide "hey lets make 10 more of them spots in our TA lot pay to park" its gonna be a domino affect... And stop trying to look young, change your profile from 33 to 34 so we all know how old of a fart you are...
Pasquale Thanks this. -
TA to expand assisted parking program even more in the future to include rv park style pull through spots for a minimal fee somewhere around 15-25 a night according to article in Landline magazine.

exactly. 2700 bucks can buy my......don't know i have no bills LOL ok wait no i have car inscurance yea that >< I really only posted to help explain what pasquale was trying too. I just agree with pasquale of course it is too high of a price , but most importantly the teamwork aspect of it. funny almost all the prepay spots i see were there before.....they werenot added. If they did paint the lines they were still spots that people parked in! that is the funniest part of all of this

I'm starting to think some of these guys are unable to back up all that well after a long day on the road and I can understand that and I guess if they don't mind paying it's alright I guess. That 10-15 dollars would sure by a good dinner though. I'll just keep parking at these rest areas and out of the spots for now.dominica1 Thanks this.

You know, you guys are pretty rude in some ways. Just because, when there's a need for a guaranteed parking spot, a driver pays to reserve a spot, doesn't mean he can't blind side back. How about the new fad of parking nose first? Which ones of you are doing that? Any of you? Forrest thinks you guys ought to be banned, at minimum, simply because it's dangerous, stupid, and jeopardizes everybody.
I don't get the rudeness here or making broad, unwarranted statements about others, just because you disagree with them about one stupid little thing.
