Running with JCT, Part Deux

Is anyone else coming to Sapulpa today? I'm chked into the Super 8 and have my rental car available for last minute store runs if anyone needs.

 

Thanks for the heads up and offer, but I won't be there. I'm heading for Iowa...Coralville to be exact. But good looking out for anyone who can make it. Have a good one.

 

Hmmmmm.. so I guess in a cascadia "minimum cool" level for coolant also means minimum hot? Been flashing check engine light and shutting down for a day. Freaking me out. Going to wait til it cools and add coolant.

Delivered in Pottsville PA this morning and bought 34 gals of fuel in PA, just enough to get me here to Harrisonburg VA for a pickup going to Lakeland FL (Publix). Was going to stop at the house quick to pickup my extra coolant but will be rolling through in the wee small hours. No ride. Just got another 75 gals in VA at $3.89/gal, just enough to get me to Ft Mill SC where fuel is around $3.85. I am a cheap sum*****.

ETA: remind me sometime to tell you the story of my utter stupidity and brainlessness, resulting in burning up two precious hours and at least 10 gals of liqid gold (fuel). Sometimes I wonder how I get around without a drool bib.

Kewl. Another JCT just pulled in. Going to the same Publix.

 

I put my application in yesterday. Should have no problem getting on.

 

Spill it Bub. I'm stuck in the Super 8. Left Ohio yesterday evening driving 795 miles sitting in a seat made for a 5" tall hunchback.... ZERO lumbar support! I've had 2 hours sleep and I refuse to sleep anymore till after Walking Dead tonight. I need the entertainment!

 

Oh I will spill it indeed. Getting loaded right now and going to run out back and get some sleep. The story is monumental in it's stupidity and will have an asterix next to it in the annals of Epic Stupidity. I will tell you this much: it involves windy back roads covered in ice and 14% grades.

 

That sounds like PA...... I cant wait. lol
