Here's another pretty good idea, talk to your DBL about running beer for Miller. It's a seasonal thing and only lasts about 3-4 months, but I was home EVERY friday night without exception during that time. The account usually kicks in in March and the like Albany domiciled drivers to run it. But beware......be prepared to burn your 14 every day.....no big deal, but you'll run your tail off for those 5 days.

 

What is this ( suck it up deal). What its a badge of honour to be treated like this. There is no reason to keep a guy out three weeks when he has requested a date to be at home. I have seen too many times companies treating their drivers this way and then cry about not having drivers wanting to join this industry. Amazing. Best advice I can give you as soon as you have six months of this crappy company look for a local job at home. They are there and you will have less headaches and heartache. Plus you will have a life friends and hopefully a marriage and children who will know what their father looks like after three weeks away with 34 hours off. I wish you well young man.
