There's no excuse for road rage and that's what this is. I will take the OP's defense on that. Their follow up is a little strange.

Driver slows down for an ambulance
Truck almost rear ends them and gets mad
Truck escalates the situation and tailgates to intimidate
Truck changes lanes and intentionally swerves to scare them.

I don't see how you all defend a driver like that? It's road rage and nothing else. It doesn't matter if the 4 wheeler was in the wrong. You don't use a 80,000 lb vehicle to intimidate someone.

What happens if other traffic stopped quickly? There would of been a major accident and innocent fatalities with all that traffic.

If I was the safety director I would fire that driver in a heartbeat.

If I was the 4 wheeler being the slower traffic I would ride in the right lane and I wouldn't slam my brakes on while I'm in front of a truck because I haven't been paying attention to my surroundings.

It takes 2 people for road rage to happen so I'm not singling either one out. No matter how mad a trucker gets you don't retaliate. You hold you cool and ignore. Better yet stop trying to be Earnhart Jr. on the highway. Stupid driving like that only saves a minute or two if even that.

Calling the company was justified. Getting on the internet hoping for what?? is rather silly and vindictive. You probably already got him fired what more do you want? There ain't nothing we can do here other than teach you better driving habits.

First off off you said it yourself and so did other driver that posted he slowed down for ambulance uh. Y understanding is not only are you suppose to slow down but move over, have you looked at video would you kindly please tell me what Lane he is in? 2nd of all he states he was being tailgates by this driver where is the proof, and or other driver to defend himself.
third were you in cab with driver? So how do we know that it was intentional that driver swerved into his lane and not caused by one of two factors... One weather, two distraction in cab.

the only thing in video shows is driver failed to maintain Lane and as to not why.

Been awhile since I been to driving school but on reading one side of the story I would bet it does state to slow down and or to move over when emergency vehicles are running hot. Not stay in Lane. Just my thought about it.

Yes I'm upset, I admire the level of many drivers professionalism. Also there are this kind of bad drivers what I am Trying to accomplish is to expose this kind of driver and to raise awareness how a split second reckless action put some one life I in danger.

I would agree but you would also have to agree that even though there are bad truck drivers out there, there are just as many 4 wheelers that are just as bad. And I am not sure of the percentage rate but would say IMHO that 90% of most accidents which involve a big rig was caused by a four wheeler. And even if one can argue that the 4 wheeler was in the wrong it's the truck driver who ends up paying for it and being blamed in the long run.

It's a dash cam so you can't see what was happening earlier. I do know from this forum's experiences the one's that do come on here are terrified. You just joined.

If they say a truck was tailgating them in retaliation I believe it. People don't post video's and join forums for an occasional lane drift. That doesn't make sense.

Again both are in the wrong.

Have you ever bothered to see how the 4 wheelers drive or do you mainly focus on trk drivers?

Of course they do. Youtube is full of dash cam videos of much of nothing blown out of proportion. I'm not saying that's the case here, but then again who knows.

Thanks you get my point. That is why i came to this forum. "I don't see how you all defend a driver like that? It's road rage and nothing else. It doesn't matter if the 4 wheeler was in the wrong. You don't use a 80,000 lb vehicle to intimidate someone. "

We have the FMCSA to deal with and there is already plenty of awareness on truck drivers with CSA2010 implemented. Google it for details.

I wish we could raise awareness on all the bad car drivers out there. Speeding, tailgating, no turn signals, improper lane changes and passing, turning around in the median and no one does anything to stop it. 90% of the population couldn't even pass a DL written test without studying and they have been driving their whole lives.

Truckers are taught how to deal with cars. Car drivers need to be taught how to deal with trucks. Every single person I have given a ride in my truck for their first time always says "I didn't know it was like this". It never fails.

If you ever get the opportunity try riding in a truck sometime. It will open your eyes.
