The FMSA info on any trucking company can be found at the FMSA web site. You can see how many trucks they have, inspections, accidents, etc--at-------------------------------------------------------------------------FMSA.dot.gov-------------------------

More in particular you can get there from here. Most newbies just have a name and not a DOT or MC #.

    https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx

Then when there you can see most the data and up in the top right you'll see a direct link to their SMS.

But don't let that be your deal breaker because the way it's set up the bigger companies have better scores because it's based on comparison. 16,000 trucks will always have a better score than a company with 100 trucks. I would just be alarmed to the ones in compliance review and a clear picture of problems.

That is right as far as the correct way for the web site. One can see the accidents, inspections out of service and the rate of their scores on these items, this is a two year time frame and it is compaired with the over all average.---but most of the new driver may in fact be better at the computer than I am. You see I am just an old truck driver/mechanic--
