We covered our butts when this all started. We called the company that dispatched him and told them what was going on - they picked up their leased trailer within a few days. We also went down to our local police department and gave them a heads-up just in case. He'd be hard pressed to find anyone in our little town to believe anything he says. so this guy has trucks leased on to another company hiring drivers for his trucks?

Yes. He owns the trucks but all of the numbers and plates belong to the dispatch company. The trailer he used also belonged to that company. They cut ties with him completely and he still owes then money for advances and the recent abandoned loads. Hubby found out today that he just got his own authority in Texas. -
sounds like this guy couldnt pay you what he owes you even if he wanted to
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
