If they bring in a better truck, every time something new comes out it makes the rest of the OEM's do a better job, cheaper.

you will have problems earlier with other things on trucks than engine, but as scania parts are extremely expensive it makes no sense to keep truck for a longer time than 6cil , also here it is very risky to have truck for a long time because there are inspections on road and if they find something wrong on truck , bit of rust or any part worn they send you to their service and charge this 10 times more than it would cost normally
about condition in europe here 90% of transport is in circle of 300milles , conditions are different, higher weight, more stop and start , here in my region road infrastructure is not best so instead of careless ride on highway you drive on old narrow and winding roads , often climbing same hill few times , it goes up and down , particularly difficult are roads in bosnia and montenegro , there it is not rare that you can reach 3mpg in worst part of roads
about englishman´s they are very difficult people, very arrogant, their pride is very high, they cant accept fact that their truck industry dont exist anymore and as long as it existed there was nothing good coming from there -
98989 do you know what kind of fuel milage the V8 would get in "normal" European work ?
