Around ten years ago I went to Jevic Trucking (based out of So Jersey) for orientation. It was the worst experience of my life, they took in more drivers than they had jobs and from my understanding they went out of business shortly after that.
I know from first hand experience that not only Jevic but a number of other companies will lie to you right through their teeth. The Rip-off Report doesn't link any of those complaints to TTR so I would at the very least take the OP's word for it albeit with a little grain of salt.
Drivers need to stick together, the OP may not responding now or may never again but that doesn't mean his complaint was false. He gave us the heads up, if you're going to apply at Nashville then put them in the furnace and try them good. A bad company can make a good driver look bad.pete1 Thanks this. -
I hope you cats realize...nobody cares

(My boss yesterday was whining about how no one in Govt cares about him and his troubles
trying to run his tiny truck company , we're on our own , they'll rescue a crooked bank , but nothing
good is going to the little people....we're all wailing into a vacuum ) -
What he means by downsizing is that he is leaving. Downsizing by one driver.
If you have a lawsuit against them for a million, remember the lawyer will get $999,500 of the $1,000,000.
So, you might want to raise it to $2,000,000 so you can at least make a $1,000 off the deal.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 22, 2014

I hope he gets his fair share of the suit. But the company could file bankruptcy and not pay a dime. I left a big company because of their lack of ethics. I work for a real small operation now. I asked the owner why he treated his drivers so good when all the big companies treat their drivers so badly and get away with it. He told me many reasons that made sense, but the one reason he gave that struck home to me in the world as we know it now days was " I have to live around here and if I screw over my drivers who make me a living my house would get burnt to the ground and I could wind up as Hog food , these people have families and what you put out in the world comes back on you seven fold" . I work for this guy as long as I can. He treats us good and we have every weekend off. There are only five of us drivers. Screw the big companies....

Quite a few holes to fill in this story. I'll be surprised if thomas comes back.

Camaro 68 "What he means by downsizing is that he is leaving. Downsizing by one driver".
I know that , it could also mean by selling off assets to pay lawsuit and hopefully you REALIZE my post was meant to be in a
manner , hopefully so was your" remember the lawyer will get $999,500 of the $1,000,000".
