Come on mann... you got to get together and at least get a fridge! I don't use Micro but have TV. I cook with one of those lunch box ovens. I know it's low budget but gets the job done and perfectly happy with it. Will eventually upgrade.. will see. My next thing is Vucube so I can have sat tv. Right now just using digital Antenna.

I've really been thinking about the vuqube. I don't even have a tv in the truck currently, but probably because I wouldn't get many channels. If I got the vuqube and could get some good movie channels with directv. You can get the basic one that you have to use the control panel to manually point the dish for $299 from here, its refurbished but no problem with that IMO.

How much is directv with a good movie channel package?

Looks like they got the little one in stock, I don't need the auto tracking one. Anyone know how long it takes to manually get the dish positioned? Worth the extra for the mid-level one that auto-acquires the signal when stationary?

I pay about $50 bucks month for directv at the house.. no movie channel that is about $60 bucks more.. I just rent a movie when I want to watch one. Should be able to add a box for the truck at about $12 bucks more month.

Hmm looks like directv won't do HD with the vuqube, so I would have to go with dish.

Hmm you're right. Search "VuQube DISH Tailgater Automatic Portable HDTV Satellite System VQ2500" (not sure if ebay links are allowed here) on ebay, comes up with one for $350 that has the auto-satellite acquisition (but not when moving) for $350. Might have to think about that. But, inverter for microwave and big frige are top priority for this truck ATM. I need to stop spending so much at truckstops for subway, etc.

And don't forget $350 for tailgater then you need the Dish Network Vip receiver that'll run you $150-$200. If u have dish at home then it's only like $10 to add a receiver to your act.
