Need a 3406b engine for an old truck. Found a PEEC engine out of a T600. Can I put my injection pump on this PEEC engine? Can I put a 3406E in it and use the harness off of the T600 if I buy the whole T600 for parts?

    things are not so easy.

3406E and C15 are with pump injectiion units, cylinder head and cam shaft are totally different.

it is much easier to fit 3406E with ECM, wiring, TPS and switches in your truck

I have a 94' 379 with a 3406B PEEC that was converted to a mechanical pump. It's a 4CK motor. It runs strong. Bought the truck that way so I have no idea what they did to do it but I'm glad they did!

I have a truck with a 3406B. I'm looking at a donor truck with a 3406BPEEC engine. Will the B pump fit the BPEEC engine without changing a bunch of stuff?

What will I have to change? Will I have to get the harness rewired on the other truck? Does the PEEC have an "electronic" fuel pedal? The donor truck is an early 90s T-600. The engine needs to go into a 90s 378 Pete that has a mechanical linkage. What other if any malfunctions will I encounter in the swapover if I do not change the PEEC pump over with my mechanical pump?

really I'd prefere Electronic Diesel Control.... so check for all electronic components. if something is lost it woiuld be a problem, becouse this engine is not supported

i think you can just put the b back have on the peec pump never did it but have here that and you would need the pedal from the other truck

The peec will have an electronic pedal if you are putting the peec into a manual truck using the manual fuel pump there should be no problem. The PEEC's have a bad reputation but don't really deserve it. Its more fault of the guy working on them than the technology. Electronic engines were not accepted yet at the time. I have converted a bunch due to customer request its not a big deal really.

On different truck , Renault to be exact, i was told by a mech. That when u install the mech. pump, that u just disconnect the wire that comes from the pump to the ECU
