Why would you want a company provided cell phone?

Most carriers, especially larger ones, use an on-board satellite linked computer such as a Qualcomm unit, so they do not see the need for a driver to have a cell phone other than for personal use. I have seen some carriers that offer a certain amount of money per month as a reimbursement for you having a cell phone. You are more likely to see local and dedicated carriers having a cell phone in the truck that is also used to scan barcodes for pickups and deliveries, though the phone would stay in the truck when not driving.

My company has a deal with Verizon where we get an 8% per line discount on our bill each month so for my wife and I that's 16% off each month. That's probably as good as your gonna get with most companies. Find one that supplies your phone? Good luck with that one

Some private carriers may offer a "phone allowance" paid weekly on their paycheck of a set amount but that's about all you can hope for. If your credit is so bad you can't get one, you'll have to settle for pre-paid because you're in for a long search for a company who provides phones to drivers in this day of on board text-based communication.

Prime provides you an ATT phone but you gotta pay for it. I think it's $16 a week.

Just remember, whoever supplies the phone, can see who you are calling, and when.
I've worked for a few companies who would pay part of your cell phone bill since you used it for work related stuff.
Of course, crete doesn't do that, but they call you all the time and fell like they have the right to pass your number around to anyone they feel like.
