    Very sad, sounds like the teen didn't know what a flashing red light meant.

    Sometimes I think we don't give our teens enough driver's ed.

    The other issue is the coil coming loose. Obviously, that can happen in an accident; however if the coil wasn't properly secured then it could come back to bite the driver in the arse.
