I had an officer in Texas tell me he could give me a warning for my GPS but he wouldn't. When I asked him why he said because it was an obstruction of my view. I asked him, "My view of what? The hood?" When he looked at me funny I walked with him to the side and we looked in and really saw the view angle from the drivers seat. He just kind of chuckled after that. Was a really cool guy, specially considering this was at 2am local time, but I imagine it would have ended differently if it wasn't a clean inspection otherwise. But I think they were more looking for drunks then anything.

Texas is tough . When I'd run to Houston from KY I'd run I-12 and I-10 to avoid problems on 59
