We have espar in my company truck. Works great uses little fuel. Shuts off after ten hours to preserve batteries. Not sure about the installation. It works great!

 

I like the webasto (spelchk) but I don't believe I've ever used the esbar, so I have nothing to compare it to.

What kind of truck did you buy?

Just so you know, when Peanutbutr says he can help you with fuel mileage, it's because he knows what he's doing. When he was at ACT before, he was consistently at the top of the company's list of fuel mileage. BigKid was always up there too. I personally know them both. Do what they say, and you will be successful too. They are both very generous with sharing their knowledge.

I left ACT after 4 months due to some family issues. Now I'm thinking of going back. I've talked to Marsha and should not be a problem, but this time I'm thinking of getting an older truck with a shorter term or maybe looking into the series 8000 lease. Anyway my short time there before was mostly positive and I hope all works out in going back. Glad most of you guys are still posting.

When a DM leaves you stranded in a lane with no freight and you end up with a choice of 3 loads on a Thursday morning that delivers Monday and there all heavy loads doesnt matter if your getting 15mpg . Wed i had 1475 in total revenue after fuel expenses . I refused those three and got another load offer that picked up over the weekend said thats best they could do. I got a load that paid 1102.70 and i spent 478 on fuel . That comes out to 624.70 in revenue for 4 days . Ill hold my 624.70 load back for a head start next week so my take home will be 475 my fixed cost are 1000.00 every week but thats what ive been doing for over a month now . They keep throttlling me back for some reason. I been here 2 yrs only been in the hole maybe 4 time less than 200.00 bucks so its steady income. Thank god i dont bills like most i been gone longtime ago
