Been accepted to Roehl, called left message and haven't got call back today. I've been wanting to drive for years, never had the backbone to change careers. I've driven non-CDL company vehicles for 22 yrs. No felonies, DUI's, wrecks or ticket, anything negative. I'm past the partying age. I have no family left at the house, thank you stress, it's just me and my dog. I know I cant take him with me at Roehl, but a year into it I can change companies. I've been researching non-stop on this website (it's been a real Godsend). I am paying for my school and hope to get reimbursed. I have been reading these forums everyday, reading the CMV CDL, taking practice tests multiple times and watching videos on you tube. Is Roehl (from an employee or previous employee, a real good company? From what I've read it's mostly got positive reviews. I have been in upper management for years and understand the "protect the company at all cost" attitude, that's why people can post negative responses, I understand the companies point of view, I have been there. I love to drive and after seeing these posts, y'all have a community not like the one I was in. I look forward to any feed back.

Just remember, the first year is the worst. Your new, LISTEN. Some things may not make common sense, but they are done that way for a reason. Thing's will get better as you get more experienced.
    Best of luck.

Why don't you go with a company that has a pet policy? Unless the policy has changed, Watkins & Shepard has a pet policy and a terminal in Berea.

Melton Truck Lines is another to look at.

CTL Transportatin has a pet policy.

Not knocking Roehl at all, good company, just looking at pet policy.
