C15 acert cooling fan staying on and only building 32 PSI boost max

    Took the truck to cat here in Indy, they rewired the air solenoid from the ecm cool fan working now. I also had them do a DYNO since scan gauge was only showing 32PSI boost max. Its rated at 435HP truck has 680K miles it put down 380HP to the ground. Stupid scan gauge isn't reading anything right. Time to return it.

    my scan gauge don't read right either now that you see what it makes hp I'd like to know what your gauge shows mine shows 419hp and I don't think that's close

    The A/C high pressure switch uses a ground as a signal to the ECM to turn the fan ON/OFF. More then likely you have a wire that has rubbed through the insulation and is grounding out against the engine or truck somewhere causing the fan to stay on. You need CAT ET to monitor the A/C pressure switch activation in the ECM to see if this is the problem.
