Haha, welcome back then. Also, welcome back to TTR, havent seen any posts from ya in awhile.

Remember our trainer? He is now training my cousin.

I told my cousin, if I had to deal with him, youre dealing with him too. lol, but all jokes aside, hes a pretty good trainer.

I am supprised that DM is not written up. QUALCOMM charges extra for those "IMPORTANT" messages.

 

We have been having some issues with TMW (dispatch software) here at Haney so we had a couple techs out here for a week. From talking to them they are under the impression Swift will be switching to TMW, look forward to more transition problems.

 

I would sleep in 1-3hr stints. And only if they had 200+ miles of nothing but freeway driving, no cities, no merging, or hills.
Also I would shut the truck down 4-6hrs every day so I could sleep without the truck moving.

What trucking company are you currently driving for?

 

Every message from my boss comes across as an important, whether it is or not. It's how I know she's messaging me, vs the random message/load info/etc

 

Is that what's considered planning software? I know Swift uses an ancient system for dispatch, but rumor had it there was a brand new planning software (new to Swift) coming down the pipe, that the planners will be using. It's new to Central and Swift folks

 

Oh oh my goodness, another transition? These people know NOTHING about how to conduct a transition.
