Third week at Future Truckers of America in NC

    Next week with be my fourth week at FTA. I believe I can pass the pretest and backing now. It wont be long. :Van: I'm going to try and start calling recruiters tomorrow.

    I have my tanker, combination and the hazmat (finger prints are in process). I want to drive otr. 48 and Canada would be sweet. I already have a passport. I think I would like to pull some type of tanker or flatbed but for the first year or so that may not be possible so I'm just looking to find a good company to learn the ropes and get some driving experience.

    You're good to go for tanker. Here's some companies that hire new CDL grads.

    CTL Transportation
    Trimac
    Superior Carriers
    Schneider Bulk
    SVTN

    48 state flatbed:

    Howard Transportation
    Melton Truck Lines

    I'd go with tankers though.
