You would be better off just ignoring his posts like everyone else.

Mine is profitable too. I am an owner operator. I have over 20 years of accounting background.

I am STILL waiting for your answer as to why this is funny.

Is a strike of one day gonna make a difference? Wouldn't a strike need to last longer to truly make an impact?

I am a newby, just asking questions. My dad is in business for himself and doesn't use computers. I am just trying to get more info. If there is a strike, he is in.

My definition of profitable. If I end up with one cent after all expenses are paid. My definition of non profitable. I have had to invest one cent to make all the expenses a zero balance.

I have dealt with many of his type over the years.

From what I can get from his posts, he is a car hauler. He deals directly with the shippers and receivers. He believes himself to be in a good isolated business that he can control.

The problem that truckers face is fuel has become a detrimental expenditure. When the cost gets too prohibitive, it will have a major effect on many parts of the economy. Cars being purchased will slack off. This could affect his part of the industry. Will it be funny to him then?

The car sales where I live have slacked off already..And you are correct.I just can not believe that someone like him could have the attitude that theres nothing wrong out there when Truckers salary that is used to feed there family has to now go in the fuel tanks...

On the other side of the coin..Look at the Elderly and others that are on a fixed income that got hit real bad with high cost of Oil to heat there homes..Lot of them tell me ether it is heat or food...

We as a country need to unite and stand up this garbage

No BD1 this not a hand out ether...

Time that we all look long and hard at this situation
