My mbn's rocker arm cracked, engine rattled, truck is stranded near scranton pa, and just bought the new rocker arm. Do you guys know what is the torque specs on it when installing the rocker arm?

It depends on which set of bolts you have holding the jakes and rockers shafts in place. If you have all 12 point bolts, then it is torque everything to 40 ft-lbs and then come back then re-torque to 80 ft-lbs. Start at the center and work out to each end, do the stud last.

If you have the 3, 6 point bolts and 1 12 point bolt then it is torque to 40 ft-lbs and then turn the bolts 90 degree on the second pass

The valve covers I don't torque. They use a special bolt with a shoulder, when they bottom out against the valve cover spacer I stop tightening them, otherwise they will pull the threads out of the aluminum spacer.

If I place a 6nz camshaft into mbn, what will affect anything with the engine?

Better performance. If you already have a 6NZ cam go ahead and use it but if your buying one get the 800HP marine cam. Same price and I've never had a problem with any cat dealer taking any cam as core as long as it's in good shape. I've cored Acert cams and MBN cam's and all go through with no issues. Keep in mind since the marine cam isn't a truck part your going to have to price it from a Cat dealer not a truck dealer. HUGE price difference.
