I called Brands this week and they had Progressive beat handily. Brands plolicy had unlimited mileage where as Progressive quoted 500 air miles from my house. The policy I was quoted also had a 15k gap protection built into it. They also had occupational accident for $130.00 a month.russellkanning Thanks this. -

I need some help, got a quote today $13K for the year with $2600 down about $1100 a month for 10months.
1mill liability
100k cargo (reefer malfunction)
Unlimited miles
What do you think about this Quote, seem kind of high to me so I asked the agent to look around some more. I'll be running a reefer. 2003 Freightliner century with a 2004 utility trailer. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! -

So I'm assuming you agree it very high. Talked to my cousin couple hours ago. when he started his some years back, He went with progressive, said he put down $650 and paid about 600 a month. He was running flatbed and never went more than 500 miles away. I didn't think, I would get a quote like that but I thought it would be somewhere around 10k a year.
