Im wondering If anybody has the inside scoop on any dedicated runs out of the Austin TX area headed to Houston Tx area? I run this daily but I always have to deadhead to San Antonio, TX or Waco TX. Any help would be apreciated.
I need information on dedicated runs in Central Texas.

charge more money and don't worry about the deadhead

Yeah, I charge $250K on one load and take the rest of the year off. It's not working out too well for me though.Last edited: Mar 2, 2014

????
It isn't any different than any other city .. no freight leaving, charge enough to bounce .. if your time isn't worth anything to you, then go in there for cheap and haul back to where you want for cheap and have the same gross revenue per mile ... sure, you can go in for round trip rate and sometimes get some extra gravy if you want to call it that for the return, but just remember how good customers that want their freight hauled for peanuts are ... -
Austin really ant a trucking city if you know what I mean

If you play guitar you might do a gig in a bar in Austin for fuel money back to Houston!

The only place I've loaded more than once in Austin is Otis Spunkmeyer frozen. 9 times out of 10 I'm bouncing out of there to Waco or home. Any load I take to Austin has enough money to deadhead out and then some for making me go through the crappy traffic in that town and dealing with the hippy liberals.

They can't pay enough for that.
