For the last couple of days we haven't been able to send a Mac-22. We fill out all the fields, but the "Send" button doesn't activate and we end up having to call our DM to have them notify the planners of our status. Tried unplugging the power cable from the black box to reboot the system, still having the problem.
Anyone else having this issue? If not, then it is likely our unit that has the problem and we'll get the shop to look at it in Phoenix.
Mac-22 not working?

Ok why did you brake it?Did you dispatcher reach your boiling point?lol
-
Nah. With this dedicated gig we generally talk to our dispatcher once a week, gig a round trip coast to coast with all the stops lined up and go at it.
Generally I've had good luck rebooting the QC, but this time everything works except the Mac-22. It is what it is, guess we'll have to wait until we get back to Phoenix. -
If you unplug it and pull the battery out of the box (torx-15 or 20 socket I think) for 30 seconds or so it will be a full reboot. I had a problem a while back where the darn thing didn't go to the drive line for 15 miles I drove from a delivery to the next shipper. I have not had a problem since..

Yeah, did that full on unplug the power cord from the black box and turned off the electric switch next to the driver's seat for a couple minutes for a full on reboot. It didn't rectify the Mac-22 problem. I'll report back after we get it in the Phoenix shop this weekend and let you all know what they find. I was just wondering if this might be a software update issue that affected other drivers. They say that, "Mac-22 is your friend"... but I'm not feeling the love right now....

There is a battery in the qualcomm black box. That I'm talking about not the truck battery
-
Yes, I know. In order to drain off that battery for a complete reboot you have to unplug the power cord to the black box for a couple of minutes. For good measure I also turn off the main electric switch while waiting for the black box battery to drain. Still unable to use Mac-22 today.

Not trying to imply that you don't know what you are doing or anything of the sort, but have you tried scrolling back thru the message and make sure you have filled out all the required information? I know it sounds silly, but there have been times when I've filled out a macro and couldn't send it. Sure enough, looking back thru the message, I some how missed a box. It will be hi-lighted in red if you missed it.
Again, not trying to imply anything, just offering a suggestion. -
Yep, been caught many a time without filling in all the fields. We have all fields filled every attempt. However, Mac-22 started functioning again yesterday. Not sure if this was a software update or what.

Well jeez Lepton, if you where not late, you would not need MAC-22. HEHE
