Bothered by company on "home time"?

I added another column on the drivers board and it is basically to allow drivers to indicate if they are willing to be called in EARLY , if not checked they will not be called.

 

That's how it's done, and problem solved....kinda hard to dispatch someone when you can't communicate with them...

 

Now that's waaaaayyyyy too logical.

I can imagine more than one driver would want to be called to "save" them from home time.

 

So when did you meet my EX-WIFE???

If im "Not Working"..Im "NOT Logging" anything......But On a Saturday or Sunday..Im Doing Maintenance or Fueling the Truck..Washing it,,Whatever.....You Think im going to Find a logbook somewhere while im hailf in the bag?

things like this are a non-issue......You guys are far too 'critical' of life in this business...R-E-L-A-X.... Enjoy your time off..Whether its with Family or Working on your trucks

It seems like drivers today are Robots and are sacrificing precious moments in life just to suffice things that dont matter... USE COMMON SENSE people.....

 

I am just showing what the DOT dug out on an inspection. They found the dispatch date and wanted to know how he got it while on his break.

Many people work on their trucks during their break. It is considered on duty not driving. Make a mistake in the inspection and you get a false log.

 

Don't answer the phone when they call!
