It can't get here soon enough. I'm so tired of the snow and ice and the NE, north.

YardDart, 5speed and gntorres61 Thank this.

I know how you feel and I agree. I haven't been here long, so I can't complain yet but I was told "a mix of freight" and all I've been getting except one load has been NE.

Im currently here at pilot exit 4 I 74 in Indiana have 150 miles to go for my 0800 del. Means another early morning start which I kinda don't mind makes it easier to find a parking spot when im done for today. RC I agree with you on the winter weather wind chill here tonight -15 and the low temp. for Springfield, il is -1. Come on spring time.

Hey YardDart, you must have been one of the Abilene trucks I waved to headed the other way. I delivered in Indy then picked up in Decatur, IL now I'm headed back to Danville, VA. This snow won't stop following me. I'm ready for some sunny weather. I like the name by the way, I was a fellow yard dart at Ft. Bragg myself.

    YardDart Thanks this.

More than likely it was me I wave at every Abilene truck. I've only had one that didn't wave back and if I don't wave back means I didn't see them. I retired out of 82nd airborne division and when I meet my trainer he actually gave me the name yard dart. Well hopefully the winter will soon die down but this is march can be 70 one day and 10 the next day. I del at 0800 not no where from there be safe all.

Well looks like I gotta look elsewhere. They can't seem to find a driver to pick me up in Chattanooga for orientation. Which I think doesn't bode well for home time :(

Well, there's Covenant Transport in your area and Averitt Express in Cookeville Tennessee. Good luck.

Well I guess someone was looking out for me after all. That jersey load...yeah it cancelled. Now I'm in Louisiana. Headed to Austin Tx for am delivery. I swear if I wasn't here, I'd have to be working for a living.
