My fellow elders, I have a '99 KW T800 with a cummins ism. This t800 is the smaller of them, the one where the front fenders are not quite "full" front fenders. Being that the smaller ism is in the truck and the hole for the motor is spec'd for it, I am needing to know what the biggest motor I'd be able to put in my truck. I have an N14 I'd like to put in because the series 60 is probably 2 feet too tall. If any of you have had experience in this or any general knowledge it would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Would you be surprised if I told you that even Kenworth studdered when I asked them this... Cummins told me to call Kenworth.... Thanks guys
Biggest cummins that can go in "small" T800?

I'd say a ism would fit.

you can get a t800 with a c15 n14 isx or a detroit 60 series you just need the right mounts its the same frame and cab as the t600

I see dirthaller is following me and you are correct as far as the motors that came in the smaller of the two sizes. Where does the size difference lye? Is it in the area between tranny mounts and front axle?

Do you have the short hood or the long hood?
