Thanks YardDart. I usually stay out about three weeks. I'm 1147 with 425k. I'll be happy if they just fix it. And I'll take anything but a Mack. I like the Volvo 780 but a Freightshaker ain't bad in my opinion. Never drove a KW before. And w4cdw your correct. We do have idle sensors. I'm know I'm wrong but someone can correct me. I think the truck won't idle between 30 and 75. Like I said something like that but that's not right. Somebody else might know the specific temperature.

Ah ok, no way to trick em? Like put it in drive or something?
-
Nah, not that I know of...but I don't know a lot of things. I'm just a dumb ole truck driver. I started figuring up my miles. Fri morning after I deliver this load ( this is counting from Sat?) I'll have 3177 miles. That's good to me

Yes they do. Cant tell tje exact settings but yes trucks idle below a certain temp and above a certain temp. Hopefully someone from here might be able to get the exact temps for you.
-
They have a Mack for you...lol
-
Ummmm "anal wipes". Okay your stuck with the handle deuce.

There are only a couple 11 series trucks left. When I turned in mine I told Bill he should keep a few for loaners. Keith only keeps them around for 3 years and then sells them off. The first 2 digits of the trucks are the years.

They are set at 32 and 75 I think, no need to be exact on that. The trucks have bunk heaters so there's no reason to "trick" them.

Ok cool. Just wasn't sure bout summer months. Guess an open window and fan will work magic lol

Plenty of leeway for summer. Just the right temp to idle for my pup when I go in and take a shower.
