There are two over speed "severity" levels in the QC and the "critical" one is below 75.
I know I seen it in the settings/parameters somewhere but couldn't find it last time i looked.
Prime will be installing camera's in its trucks. Just heard at Friday's Meeting....

Prime already recieves these speeding notifications every day, for a couple years now. How is a camera going to change the outcome of these notifications unless you are doing something dumb on camera.
I imagine a driver would be worried if he makes a habit of driving with your feet on the dash.
If you were to trigger a critical speeding event right now the only difference a camera would make is the footage. Your speedometer already busted you. -
Ah true, I make it a point to drive safe, but I do not drive with 2 hands all the time lol. just don't want to get in trouble for a stupid picture. whats the deal on the over speed thing anyway? I mean yea I can see if we're way over the limit but I try and keep it within a couple mph of the posted limit when I can. do we get in trouble for those?

I don't want some perv to look at me when I'm faping or getting dressed.
I'd like to fap, clip my toenails, fart, belch, stretch, sleep, and stuff in private. Those cameras are creepy.
They say they only turn on when breaking hard or in a accident but I don't think it's logical to take them at their word.
When's the last time a recruiter or dispatcher ever lied? They are saints. It's impossible for them to lie right? Trucking companies never lie.
Dispatcher Zotan is watching you.Last edited: Feb 19, 2018

Not to mention if the cams have audio the driver's personal information and private conversations with friends and family.
It would be just freaking creepy having a camera pointed at you and your bed 24/7. -
You've seen those little flashing lights on self flushing urinals? That's a camera. -
Wow..... really old & outdated news from several years ago that is no longer revelant.
They ran a test with a few volunteer trucks 3/4 yrs ago, just to see.
End result was Rob Lowe decided that it was not for us & not going to happen.
Can see forward road facing being implemented at some point in the future, but nothing has come down the pike on those, either.
Rollr4872 Thanks this. -
FINALLY, some truth in advertising....! LOL
