It's about the gross revenue exceeding costs, not the "per mile." What I make "per mile" will be necessarily different than what you do, especially if you have a lead foot, and I run solo. My net profit before taxes last year ended up at 53-cpm. I took a lot of time off for both business and personal purposes too.

That depends... on how your dispatch board is positioned, your driver rating, where you are in the country. $1.90 per mile? I'd say that's high. You're probably not going to get that coming in the door cold.Lalito1234 Thanks this.
