Weird that a trainer would commit so many violations in front of you then harass you about your abilities to perform your job.

You can't be the only one at that company that has seen or know of this...pretty ballsy move in front of a stranger.

It was just a regular 24 oz Budweiser. Really it was a situation where I was just like, really did he just do that?
The guy is definitely a full blown alcoholic especially with the shakes I have seen him with for 3 days.
I just emailed safety and told them why I am moving on and I hope he doesnt kill someone on the road.

Did he only drink the first time? I'd keep training with him and when he has you stop for the next beer rat him out as if it was the first time. Ratting him out days after it happened isn't going to do anything but hurt you.

HotH2o we havent been back on the road he just wants to keep me on the yard longer, they have some tanks set up to unload water from. You can air off and pump off.

why move on if this is the job you've been wanting? give it a little time, some way of addressing this issue will come to you.in the meantime, ask him how in the heck it is that he thinks that you need more training and he is the driver drinking? if he does it again in front of you, take a picture.if he tries to fail you, hand the pic over.

i hate dime droppers but this situation is drastic and he may actually drive after just drinking.send an email from some fictitious account to the safety person.don't let a drunk force you to leave a job you want.

Skateboard didn't post that comment to be an arse. That trainer bet his job that you wouldn't say anything.

Fair enough TripleSix, and I didnt.

X#1 yeah I just don't know, the pay is great, the benefits are great. My wife said just suck it up because I am getting paid 16hr for training and I am home every night for the time being.
