Starting with Prime on the 27th anyone else?

I know, its all about you.........

 

As a student it kinda is all about her lol. That should.be every trainers focus as soon as we new psd's hit your truck. Sad fact that a lot of the trainers ive seen are complete ####bags. I let some #### slide with my trainer because he can actually teach and he kept a positive environment in the truck those first couple days. But when the trainers think we owe them anything aside from learning, well thats where the problems arise. And its not an isolated incident, as I know of at least 4 other people who had to switch trainers. Thats out of this class of 45 people from 1 week......

 

Trifecta!!!! Now taking a little time to head to the house and decompress. Staying with PSD instructor for TNT. So he's taking some time too and gonna get a load down to get me. So relieved to have gotten over that hurdle!!!

 

Hell yea man, congrats!! Hopefully your trainer has better luck then mine, was supposed to roll out Monday afternoon and now stuck until at least Friday. fubar'd 5th wheel had him turn back for SpringMo Monday morning. but at least im stuck at home lol.

 

Thanks guys. Yes as a PSD it is all about me and me learning how to drive for cdl exam. That is why they get paid extra. I did what I was supposed to on the truck. I did not just sit back and be a passenger. I unhooked and hooked trailers. I helped fuel. I asked questions only to be told that I had an attitude because things in my training binder didn't match what he was telling me and I was there to learn what I was there to do. I stayed with the trainer through PSD and when when got on the backing pad the more questions I asked the more frustrated he became because his teaching style was different than my learning style. Sometimes you can't put people together based on smoking preference and location.

 

Oh also I passed yesterday. So its not like I didn't have the skills to complete the training.

 

Good job. You kept at it and got it done. Time to put it behind you and get that next phase knocked out!!!

 

Yea hard parts done. Heres to all of us racking our 30k up quick and getting out on our own. Anyine else having trouble sleeping while the trucks moving?
