I hear ya, man....and my response was a little hasty after 35 days out. God knows we've all been luckier than smart more times than we care to admit! Hope your new gig is everything you're hoping for!

Been there 48packard. .. I thought your post was a little out of character for you ...lol...

but I have had those days myself when everything seems to piss me off... I have been in a good mood for awhile though since changing rides.. been running south and it agrees with me.. the low altitude and warmer weather sure helps..

Victor V. Can you back this statement up

"You're now part of that 99% who enter GTI orientation and 6 months later have already left with damaged pocketbook or damaged CDL, sometimes both, despite that you've more skills than most who went into orientation before you or since, trucking and otherwise."

Or is it just some more of your mindless drivel......

DD, I am a little late to the party, but you need to get on craigslist or the yellow pages and find a lawyer in the same zip code as the court that the letter came from. Expect to pay about a grand before all is said and done, but if you get an attny that knows the local judges there is still hope.

Thanks for the advice, Coug, but the Michigan law is very clear: there is no appeal on matters of fact, only on matters of law. The letter came from Michigan and the infraction is not in Michigan; Michigan will not hear an appeal based on Wyoming law.

It's by far the worst thing that has happened to me in my almost-65 years on this planet but it is a done deal. Closed with no opening.

I have not liked living in this miserable state since I moved here in 2007 and this did not help me change my mind.

    Ah, if only...

The problem, as I am fond of saying, is I own a home in Michigan that I'll never be able to sell. One of my daughters-in-law is from Johnson City, so I have ties there.
