Hello Mark,
Finally got the new 720lm. Works great except when I'm entering addresses it doesn't want to use the letters I touch, it always goes to the letter to the right of it. any thoughts on this ???

 

We had a solar storm the last few days i think. That can also mess up the GPS. Back about a month ago, we had a huge solar flare or coronal mass ejection that caused a lot of "Northern Lights" and that interferes with GPS and satellites... It messed up my GPS while I was running across Oklahoma. Had me about 2 miles off route and was constantly recalculating.

 

Thanks! I did look at the sat status. It was back and forth between 7/8 and 8/8. Will keep looking at sat usage. I was on I5 northbound in CA at approx 1am pst.

 

I so remember that a month ago. Even google gps was lost. Didnt know we had flares the past couple days.

 

Is there any way to get the fuel prices to work reliably?

I turn on wifi. I set the filters to diesel, on route, and only piliot/flyingj. It norm only find one price and then just sits there thinking. When i go to pio and look for truck stops onroute, it find several. If i dont filter to just flyj and piliot, it gives results to every tiny diesel station my truck would never fit in.

 

I had the same problem. I haven't tried using it since. I have the mypilot app, the ta app, the loves app, and trucksmart. Between all those I find the prices I need.
