as a female trucker, and I travel alone.. I carry bear spray and a taser. I have used both on perverts who have followed me back to my truck. the taser is the funniest to use because ive never seen a grown man fall so fast! ;)

I'm afraid not, sir. There are no questions on the form 4473 regarding tattoos. Regarding marijuana, there are only questions about convictions and habitual use.

NJ bites royally. Retired police officers can't even load their sidearms with hollow point ammo.

Massachusetts actually requires you to hold a minimum of an FID card (for residents) to carry pepper spray I lived there most of my life and you actually need a firearms ID card (not as difficult to get as an LTC but it is a form of fire arms license (i would assume bear spray would fall into this category) every couple of years it goes before the state legislature to remove this requirement but it has always failed. I recently moved to NH to get away from that ridiculous state. I will say that I had no trouble getting my concealed permit in Massachusetts but I would not know the first thing about carrying in a cmv. My wife's family has a large amount of law enforcement and she grew up with firearms around the house (as did I) other than when I am out driving the truck I never leave home without it (same goes for my wife). I am not expecting a fire but I also keep a fire extinguisher in all my vehicles and home. Better to have and not need it than to need it and not have it

Also if you carry a tazer (or any type of "stun gun") be carefull in Massachusetts the only people authorized to have them in there possession are law enforcement. Doesn't matter if it is on your person or locked in a case in your truck they are illegal. Even with my CWP I could carry a pistol but would of been locked up if I had a tazer. What a joke

There is actually some truth to TruckDuo's Bushmaster statement.

Here in MD back in the 90's a bunch a rifles and shotguns deemed scary looking became subject to an extra degree of background check performed by the Maryland State Police, one of which was this one, the Gwinn Firearms "Bushmaster"...

Only problem now, is that since common sense in some state legislatures is, shall we say somewhat lacking, they passed a new law here last year. So now rifles and shotguns on the regulated list are now banned from sale. Furthermore, the State Police is taking the interpretation of the law to mean the ban on the pictured Bushmaster also includes this version...

Now, heavy barrel AR's were specifically exempted when the regulated list was drawn up, which you can still get here now, except Bushies.

That was the reason for my question to TruckDuo. I thought maybe he knew of similar stupidity going on elsewhere.
