Yea Sadwar.. Running for SNI choice isn't bad. In fact as I said before I did it back in July of last year and would still be there if not for the fact that I got raped by SFI on their lemon truck which they begrudgingly took back after I told them that I was contacting a lawyer and suing. It broke down on me 4 times in the first 2 days I had the truck. Had to call road side service 4 times and each time they claimed they would only make me pay half. I said hell no you will pay for it all. THe only reason I ended up turning it in was because the final time I gave it to a kenworth dealer and he showed me that the Exhause pipe under cab was completely broken but that the inspection done by SFI mechanics last week showed that it was good. That heat from there kept blowing out air lines that kept melting and thus causing me to have to pullover wherever I was.
Anyways Im happy you're doing good man as long as you are happy and you got a good truck then thats good. Not everyone is out here to get rich. Most of us just want a solid place to work pay our bills and spend time with the family so good for you brother.. keep it rolling.

Well crap I was replying to a post and the quote disappeared?? oh well.. No I haven't been drinking!

I read your thread before I joined Choice. Was well aware of the risks, especially in the truck dept. So far it is working out well. Unfortunately it did not work out so well for you. But now you are doing great with your other company.
Also aware we don't get to see every load Schneider has available on the load board. When I was a co driver I had access to the load board. I would see what loads were available in my area and then see what my dbl gave me. Sometimes the load I got was not on the load board. Oh well....
Take care and thanks for the input. -
Ran 500 miles today down to I95 in SC. About 400 miles to go tmrw for the drop at WM. Then taking a 34 to hang with the kids for the day.
Had a good week that ends today. Six days working brought in $4600 in revenue. After $1800 in fuel and $1100 to SFI should gross about $1700 to me on Friday.
The load I'm on now pays $2000 for the two day trip. After my 34 on Wed I'll have 5 days left to make the rest of my minimum $4000 a week I want. Hopefully won't be a problem.
Nice and warm here. Got the ac running with the APU. Nice and cold in here.
Stay frosty......Grijon, EggoTrucker, 91B20H8 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Made it the final 400 miles to Tampa FL. Bike week at Daytona, tons of bikes on the road. Easy drop at WM. Bobtailing on line 5 now. See the kids tmrw on my 34. No load out yet, slim pickings right now. We'll see.
Stay frosty......rickybobby Thanks this. -
Had a great day hanging with the kids. Looking at load board for tmrw and there are NO loads south of I-10 in FL to get. Looks like I get to break the rule and dh outta here to grab a load somewhere else.

Never mind. Got it. Afternoon pick up.

Picked the load dip saw on the board. Relay was delayed for four hours, so I didn't get rolling yesterday until 4:30 pm. Drove five hours pulling 45k up to rest area on I10 in FL. Kept my speed at 58 and I got 7.3 mpg. Two hours to go this morning for a d/h at Wal-Mart. then got a bit of a dead head to grab a load heading to Phoenix that pays $2200 to the truck. From there gonna grab a load headed to the house and visit for a few days.
Good first settlement today. $1850 gross on $4600 revenue.
Being happy.......
