Can't wait to start with Holland, lots of good stuff here. I was supposed to start the 24th but may need to push it back one more week. Denzil is a really understanding guy. Be safe out there drivers.

    Can't complain too much.
First month was a little slow, but been keeping me busy ever since.

    The avg miles is nice.
This load from KY to Cali.
    Before that OR to KY.

    And happy with the equipment.

    joseph1135 and skibum_63 Thank this.

    DAYS ELEVEN THRU FOURTEEN
    Imlay,NV to Little America,WY
Little America,WY to Urbandale (Des Moines),IA
Urbandale,IA to Albert Lea,MN (Via Hammond WI)

Pretty uneventful few days, especially I80 thru Nebraska is as uneventful as it can possibly be. Oh look, a cow...is about all you can say!!!

Drop load in Hammond,WI from pulling up to pulling out within 1 hour, not too shabby for a live unload really. Turnaround into S St Paul for a trailer washout and thence to Chaska,MN for a shortish haul to Ankeny,IA (being unloaded here as I type....).

Like Balakov I am starting a little slow miles wise but it seems to be picking up, maybe they start newbies out a little slower to see how they do, my first couple of loads had big lead time on them but things are starting to tighten up a bit now. Put in for my first home time towards the end of the month and got it approved almost straight away, when I am hoping to pick up a little companion for the long days out here. More on this later!!

    Positives so far:
    1. Long average length of haul, 2 of my hauls so far have been in excess of 2k
    2. Equipment, is in excellent shape and runs beautifully and is maintained well.
    3. While you have to fuel in network (mostly PFJ's) you do not have to go to the exact one they tell you to
    4. While you are strictly routed the routing usually consists almost entirely of Interstates, GordLand on the trip I just completed (Lodi,CA to Hammond,WI) would have had you running all sorts of US Highways.
    5. Some of the most pleasant dispatchers and office staff I have ever dealt with in my 8 years of trucking.

    Negatives
    1. Looks like they start newbies a little light on miles at the start.
    2. That they route you strictly (although see above too!!)
    3. Looks like you may occasionally sit for half a day for a load (although not too often)
    4. That's about it really.

    Gazoo64 and carramrod32 Thank this.
