Quality, durability or price. Pick two.
-
So are thay both money savers

No personal experience with either of those, but I do have a fair amount of experience with the MaxxForce 13. When discussing any of the new engines, the word "cheap" will never be uttered. I have moved from International to KW and the lease manager was extolling the virtues of the MX. It all sounded good, and I am willing to give it a try, but I rent and wouldn't even consider buying a new truck.

Ill take durability and price.
If its cheap and lasts long that's enough quality for me. -
Owned some older paccar engines, couldn't recommend them, first one had to be full rebuilt @ 130,000kms the other shortly after, they are well known in Europe for burning oil, using water, warping heads, dropping valves, scoring pistons and liners
trucker80mph Thanks this. -
The dealer offerd me a huge descount on the truck when we talk about paccar7

There is no such thing as an ISX13...it's either a 15L or a 12L with the Cummins, so don't get it twisted with the MX13.

What about a 12.7L Detroit in a 660 glider from Fitzgeralds?
