Another Company to IC Choice Thread

I was very surprised at the group here. Seems like I am the only one who did any research. My roommate, nice guy, had only seen pics of his truck. Had no idea how much it cost, no idea what engine or transmission was in it. He seems to have called said I want a truck and they said here are some pics. Pick one. Okay you picked it now come to Green Bay and pick it up.

It amazes me how any one could make such a large investment and have no idea what they are buying. For God's sake, I would at least want to know how much it is going to cost me to buy it. I am sure that of the 4 company to IC transfers here that I am the only one who knew what I was getting and every other detail before I even left the house.

Good luck to them. I hope the succeed. But in reality, I see failure in the future.

 

Yep tomorrow, Got the truck cleared from the shop yesterday and brought it to the hotel. Everything is loaded and put away except my clothing. Just waiting for the choice class. Been eyeballing some good looking loads, but you know we gotta see where the empty is gonna come from first. Ready to quit playing this miserable waiting game, I am becoming impatient.

 

Truck is all fueled up...675 bucks. Scaled it out and I hope like he** the scale is off. Weighed 12k on the steers and 9300 on the drives. That just seems to heavy on the steer for no trailer. Found out where the empty trailer is coming from so I am on the load board looking for the first load. The ICA that told me said he was not suppose to tell me until tomorrow, but also cautioned that if I assigned a load to myself he would pull it off of me. there is a very nice load heading into weather in CT. Pays 2800 for 12k pounds and 1300 miles....maybe if it is still there tomorrow i will grab it...
