Well if it ain't adding to many miles or messes with your appointment time you could run that way. Fuel is cheaper on 10 than 40.

I just saved myself a trip to the shop. Now that it bright and sunny; I went over the right side fuel tank again. I found that the vent hose for the tank got clogged with crap from the road (probably up on 80 with all the snow and ice). So, I unclogged it and no longer here the hiss of pressure being released when I open the cap. The clog was very hard to see in that hose also. I guess I should zip tie it to where that won't happen again.
Edit: Hose confirmed to free of any clogs. Took off hose, cleaned really really good and blew air through it.Last edited: Mar 13, 2014
88 Alpha and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Well as soon as I am emptied out here at Sygma in Denver then it's off to Grand Island, NE to pick up and then it's off to Tempe, AZ for Monday morning. Which is a good thing since I have 8 1/2 hrs left on my 70. LMAO

MachoCyclone gotta love that crap. It seems to stick to everything on a truck. Glad you was able to find it yourself with visiting a shop.

This a pic of the vent hose on the passenger side fuel tank on the '12 Cascsdia. If it stops drawing fuel, make sure it isn't clogged.

Well no western loads out of the northeast, so its back to florida for me. Jersey TP is so screwed up right now... Sittin' at the Petro on Rising Sun, cant load till 1500 tomorrow. Anyone know why JCT put Dynasys APU on these new Evo's?? What a BRILLIANT idea... only able to be repaired at a Rush location...
Oh yea and only CARB compliant when on shore power...Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? -

As to why? They are probably getting a better deal on them than the Thermo King units. -
I would also find out what warranty is on it. They go all the way up to 10,000 hrs. That might be a decision maker there since most TK units are only 2 yrs/4,000 hrs.
